Ingrédients du monde was founded in 1991 by Rudy Smolarek, who started out selling fruit purees. Meetings at culinary shows, with chefs and in specialist shops led him to specialise in chocolate, vanilla and then spices.
We've been serving restaurants, suppliers and shops for 31 years.
Our travels, meetings and exchanges with chefs enable us to innovate every year, finding new berries and spices and creating new blends.
We work with small producers all over the world, respecting their work and their prices, and weave commercial relationships that last over time, representative of our brand image.
